Grandmommy and Grandaddy attended and joined the First Baptist Church of Lebanon when they moved to South Hatton in 1944 and remained faithful members until their death. Grandmommy and Granddaddy sang in the chior here for many years. Prior to that they were faithful members of Shop Springs Baptist church. Their children grew up in this church, and Mom and Dad were married here. Aunt Rena and Uncle Joe also married at First Baptist six months later. And, speaking of Aunt Rena, let's go to her house for a little while.
